Vortisand Microsand Filtration

The Vortisand is a high-efficiency microsand filtration system, now part of the ALSI product portfolio and engineered to work hand-in-hand with our reverse osmosis (RO) and pretreatment solutions. Its cross-flow design captures suspended solids down to the submicron level, keeping cooling towers, data centers, and process water loops running clean while protecting sensitive downstream equipment. Where traditional sand and multimedia filters fall short, Vortisand filters 10 to 50 times finer while cutting both water and energy use, a more sustainable approach that reduces waste, conserves resources, and delivers cleaner water in a smaller footprint at a lower operating cost.

The ALSI Vortisand is a modular industrial filter built for continuous water polishing across cooling, RO pretreatment, and high-purity applications.
